Painted Paper Collage

Rooted is a mixed media show comprised of floral and mountain scenes created out of painted paper collage. The artist uses old maps, nautical charts, book pages, sheet music, dress patterns, and other found papers that are painted in a grounding, nature-inspired palette, then hand cut to create sometimes real and sometimes imagined florals and landscapes.
