The Tarot-sonburg show is now full.

THE FINE PRINT

This is an open call for artists for an exciting new group show - please join us! We want to thank Ryan Styer Arnold for passing along this super fun idea and trusting us to carry it out.

Artists will stop by our shop to choose a Tarot card from the Rider Tarot Deck and you will be tasked with creating a card design based on the card you draw. You will receive a board and a template specific to the type of card that you choose.

All artists will receive a printed deck to keep.

ART DETAILS

• Artwork must be submitted on time to allow our team the time necessary to photograph each piece for printing.

• All artwork must be created on the plywood board that you will pick up when you choose your card.

• Artwork may not extend beyond the dimensions of the board.

PROCESS, PROMOTIONS & COST

• Artists receive an 11x19 plywood board with their submission fee.

• Artists will return artwork to the gallery by the due date and our team will professionally photograph and attach hanging hardware to your piece.

• Promotions include a website and newsletter listing, social media event and posts, and inclusion in Arts Council of the Valley First Fridays press release.

• Submission fee: $40

• Artists are responsible for pricing their work.

• Our standard gallery commission fees apply — 20% commission at the First Friday opening and 25% for the remainder of the show.

IMPORTANT DATES

• March 31: Deadline for signing up to participate.

• April 15-18, 10am-6pm or April 19, 10am-4pm: Choose a card, pay your submission fee, and pick up your board & template. Submission fee can also be paid online if you prefer.

• September 9-12, 10am-6pm or September 13, 10-4: Finished artwork and label info dropped off at Frame Factory & Gallery.

• November 7, 5-8pm: First Fridays Art Gallery Opening

• December 23, 10am - 6pm: Unsold artwork must be picked up from the gallery unless other arrangements are made
